How it works
Zobara Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Alprazolam and melatonin, which helps you sleep. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain and induces sleep. Melatonin is a natural hormone which helps to regulate the sleep-wake cycle.

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Zobara Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Zobara Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Zobara Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
