Cough

In Cough Cough is a sudden, forceful expulsion of air that helps clear any mucus or irritant in the throat or airways. Zeet P Syrup helps to loosen thick mucus and reduces its stickiness, making it easier to cough out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing. Zeet P Syrup also relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. This medicine usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Zeet P Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Ammonium Chloride, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Guaifenesin and Levocetirizine. Ammonium Chloride and Guaifenesin are expectorants. They work by decreasing the stickiness of airway secretions and help in their removal from the airways. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which may trigger cough due to allergy.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Driving

Not Safe: Zeet P Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Zeet P Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zeet P Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Not Safe: Zeet P Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Zeet P Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Zeet P Syrup is prescribed to get relief from cough. Drink warm water to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. Use a proper measuring cup or spoon to measure the dosage. In general, most coughs do not last more than 2 weeks. If your cough does last longer than this then, it's better to see your doctor. Inform your docotor if you have or have ever had a breathing problem such as asthma, emphysema, or chronic bronchitis.
