Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Safe when prescribed by an expert: Virostav 30mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Virostav 30mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Virostav 30mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Virostav 30mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Virostav 30mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Virostav 30mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised. Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking Virostav 30mg Tablet. You may need to stop taking this medicine.
If a dose of Virostav 30mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
