Ventitus CC Syrup suppresses severe dry cough and gives you relief from an itchy throat. Along with taking Ventitus CC Syrup, gargling with warm salt water and having ginger or honey can help you manage dry cough.

How to use Ventitus CC Syrup Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Ventitus CC Syrup can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Ventitus CC Syrup works Ventitus CC Syrup is a combination of five medicines: Ambroxol, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Menthol. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough center in the brain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.
Alcohol
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Ventitus CC Syrup .
Pregnancy
Ventitus CC Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Breast feeding
Ventitus CC Syrup is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving
It is not known whether Ventitus CC Syrup alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
Ventitus CC Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ventitus CC Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
Liver
Ventitus CC Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Ventitus CC Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
