Tranobiz Injection

Tranobiz Injection contains Tranexamic Acid, which belongs to a class of medicines known as antifibrinolytics. It is primarily used to treat heavy menstrual bleeding and to reduce excessive blood loss in various conditions. By preventing the breakdown of blood clots, Tranobiz Injection stabilises clots and reduces bleeding. This helps control heavy periods, surgical bleeding, or trauma-related haemorrhage. Additionally, it is used to manage bleeding in patients with haemophilia or other clotting disorders.

Tranobiz Injection contains Tranexamic Acid, an antifibrinolytic agent used to reduce excessive bleeding by inhibiting the breakdown of blood clots. It works by blocking plasminogen from binding to fibrin, preventing fibrinolysis and stabilising clots to decrease blood loss.​

By promoting clot stability, Tranexamic Acid effectively reduces menstrual blood flow and controls haemorrhage in surgical or traumatic settings. Tranobiz Injection should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The tablets are usually taken once daily, with or without food, and often alongside aspirin. It is important to take the medicine at the same time each day to maintain consistent platelet inhibition. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly, as this can increase the risk of heart attack or blood clots; if you need to discontinue, your doctor will provide guidance.

The mechanism of Tranobiz Injection involves irreversible inhibition of the P2Y12 ADP receptor on platelets. ADP is a key activator in the platelet aggregation process that leads to clot formation. By blocking these receptors, Tranobiz Injection prevents platelet activation and aggregation, reducing the formation of harmful blood clots in arteries. This action decreases the risk of thrombotic cardiovascular events following acute coronary syndrome or stent placement.​

• Grapefruit Juice (MODERATE): May slightly increase drug levels; limit intake if advised by your doctor.

• Alcohol (SEVERE): Increases bleeding risk significantly; avoid heavy consumption.​

• NSAIDs (e.g., Ibuprofen) (MODERATE): Increases bleeding risk; use the lowest dose if necessary.

• Other Anticoagulants (SEVERE): Combining with warfarin, heparin, or other antiplatelets greatly heightens bleeding.

• SSRIs (e.g., Sertraline) (MODERATE): May increase bleeding risk; monitor closely.

• Opioids (MILD): Can delay absorption; take Tranobiz Injection first if possible.

• Active Bleeding (SEVERE): Contraindicated in current ulcers, intracranial haemorrhage, or severe liver disease.

• History of Stroke/TIA (SEVERE): Increased risk of recurrent stroke; generally avoid.

• Thrombocytopenia (MODERATE): May worsen low platelet counts; requires monitoring.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular routine. Never take two doses at the same time to compensate for a missed one, as this can increase bleeding risk.
