How to use
How to use Tbrid-Plus Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tbrid-Plus Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. Avoid Tbrid-Plus Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
How it works
How Tbrid-Plus Tablet works Tbrid-Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Isoniazid, Pyrazinamide and Rifampicin which treat tuberculosis. Isoniazid prevents the TB bacteria from forming their own protective covering while Rifampicin works by inactivating a bacterial enzyme (RNA-polymerase) which is required by these bacteria to make essential proteins and to reproduce. Together, they kill the bacteria and eradicate the infection. Pyrazinamide, on the other hand works by slowing the growth of these bacteria.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Tbrid-Plus Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Tbrid-Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Tbrid-Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Tbrid-Plus Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.You may feel dizzy or faint, have problems with vision or have other side effects that could affect your ability to drive.

What if I forget to take it?
