Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR works by relaxing muscles in the bladder and prostate. So, it can rapidly relieve the symptoms and make it easier for you to urinate. However, it may take up to 6 months to notice the full benefit. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed for maximum benefits.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This helps empty the bladder completely and reduces the need to pass urine frequently or urgently in BPH.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR 10 Tablet PR as it is deemed unsafe.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR is not indicated for use in women.

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR is recommended. However, limited information is available on the use of Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR in patients with end stage kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Caution Advised: Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Tamdosin 0.4 Tablet PR 10 Tablet PR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
