T-Score Kit is a combination of two medicines: Alendronic Acid, Calcium and Vitamin D3 which treat osteoporosis. Alendronic Acid is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures. Calcium helps build and maintain bones, while Vitamin D3 helps your body effectively absorb Calcium. Vitamin D3 additionally supports the muscles needed to avoid falls.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with T-Score Kit as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: T-Score Kit may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Safe when prescribed by an expert: T-Score Kit is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. If you are taking T-Score Kit during breastfeeding, monitor baby's blood calcium levels during the first two months.

Driving

Not Safe: T-Score Kit may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. T-Score Kit is not expected to have any effects but in rare cases, it may cause dizziness, severe muscle, joint and bone pain and eye pain or inflammation. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: T-Score Kit is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of T-Score Kit may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Safe when prescribed by an expert: T-Score Kit is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of T-Score Kit may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of T-Score Kit is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Take it in the morning at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking anything. Do not take antacids or any other medication 2 hours before or after taking this medicine. Maintain an upright posture for 30 minutes after taking the medication so the medicine does not irritate your food pipe. It is important to look after your mouth and teeth while you are taking this medicine. Have regular dental check-ups and inform your dentist about taking Alendronic Acid.
