How it works
How Sulbamax Injection works Sulbamax 1gm Injection is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It works by blocking an enzyme called beta lactamase produced by bacteria to inactivate antibiotics. Sulbamax 1gm Injection is frequently combined with beta-lactam antibiotics, such as ampicillin, cefoperazone, meropenem. As a single medicine, it treats infection caused by a type of bacterium called Acinetobacter baumanii. This activity is mediated by its interaction with certain proteins.
Safe: No harmful side effects are associated with consuming alcohol alongside Sulbamax 1gm Injection
Sulbamax 1gm Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Sulbamax 1gm Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
It is not known whether Sulbamax 1gm Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
There is limited information available on the use of Sulbamax 1gm Injection in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
