Stay Q Tablet usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop using it unless you are advised to by your doctor. Taking this medicine enables you to live your life more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms.

How to use Stay Q Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stay Q Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Stay Q Tablet works Stay Q Tablet is a combination of five medicines: Bromhexine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Guaifenesin, Phenylephrine and Paracetamol. Bromhexine and Guaifenesin help in the removal of mucus (phlegm) from the airways. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers to reduce fever associated with cold.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Stay Q Tablet.
Stay Q Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Stay Q Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Stay Q Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Stay Q Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Stay Q Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Stay Q Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Stay Q Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Stay Q Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.However, the use of Stay Q Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
If you miss a dose of Stay Q Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
