This medicine will not stop an asthma attack that has already started. How to use Senphylin DM Tablet SRFollow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Senphylin DM 200mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Senphylin DM Tablet SR works Senphylin DM 200mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR is a combination of three medicines: Acebrophylline, Desloratadine and Montelukast. Acebrophylline is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Desloratadine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and improves your symptoms.
