In Bacterial infections : Roxtil-A Tablet stops the growth of infectious bacteria and helps treat infections caused by bacteria. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

How to use Roxtil-A Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Roxtil-A Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Roxtil-A Tablet works Roxtil-A Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Azithromycin. Cefpodoxime Proxetil works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Roxtil-A Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Roxtil-A Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Roxtil-A Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Roxtil-A Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Roxtil-A Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Roxtil-A Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Roxtil-A Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
