In Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection Ropegus 100mg Tablet works by preventing the HCV virus from multiplying in your body. It helps control the infection and makes the immune system work better. This lowers your chances of getting complications and improves your quality of life. This medicine is always taken in combination with other antiretroviral medicines. It is not a cure and should neither be used to prevent HCV infection. It is important that you take this medicine as prescribed, following the dosage recommended by your doctor. Taking all doses in the right amount at the right times greatly increases the effectiveness of the medicine.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ropegus 100mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Not Safe: Ropegus 100mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Ropegus 100mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
SAFE - Ropegus 100mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Caution Advised: Ropegus 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ropegus 100mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Ropegus 100mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe kidney disease.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of Ropegus 100mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Ropegus 100mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
