PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it. Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and sleepiness. It works by reducing substances in the body that causes pain. Taking PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET will reduce discomfort associated with the above painful conditions and make you feel better. Take PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain relief.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Vomiting, Dizziness, Sleepiness']

PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Dextropropoxyphene. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.
Alcohol
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Information regarding the use of PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET during pregnancy is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.
Breast feeding
Seek medical advice from your doctor: PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Even small doses of PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.
Driving
Seek medical advice from your doctor: It is not known whether PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
Caution Advised: PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET is not recommended in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
Caution Advised: PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of PROXYTAB 500 MG/32.5 MG TABLET is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
