How Propotec Injection works Propotec 20mg Injection is a general anaesthetic. It works by causing reversible loss of consciousness. This allows surgical procedures to be carried out without pain and distress.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Propotec 20mg Injection.
Propotec 20mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Propotec 20mg Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Propotec 20mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Propotec 20mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Propotec 20mg Injection is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Use of Propotec 20mg Injection can cause green discoloration of urine.
Propotec 20mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Propotec 20mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
