In Acidity Proloc-XT Tablet relieves excessive acidity in your stomach which prevents heartburn and indigestion. Usually, it is used along with other medicines for management of your condition. Continue taking it for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated. In Heartburn Heartburn is a burning feeling in your chest caused by stomach acids travelling back up towards your throat and mouth (acid reflux). Proloc-XT Tablet improves the movement of food in the stomach and helps prevent heartburn. You should take it exactly as it is prescribed or as it says on the label for it to be effective. Some simple lifestyle changes can help stop or reduce heartburn. Think about what foods trigger heartburn and try to avoid them; eat smaller, more frequent meals; try to lose weight if you are overweight and try to find ways to relax. Do not eat within 3 to 4 hours of going to bed. In Stomach ulcers Stomach ulcers are painful sores that develop in the inner lining of the stomach or gut (intestine). Proloc-XT Tablet reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking Proloc-XT Tablet as prescribed by the doctor for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Proloc-XT Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Pantoprazole and Zinc Carnosine which treat acidity, heartburn and stomach ulcers. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Zinc Carnosine is a nutritional supplement which speeds up the healing of ulcers in stomach and intestine.

Pregnancy

If a dose of Proloc-XT Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Proloc-XT Tablet is used for the treatment of acidity, heartburn, and stomach ulcer. Do not take Proloc-XT Tablet at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines as it may interact with other medicines. Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks of taking this medicine. Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity:Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water.Avoid spicy and fatty fried food.Lose weight if you are obese.If you are a smoker, consider giving up.Don't drink too much alcohol.Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion.
