In Neuropathic pain Prehit NM Tablet is a combination of medicines used to treat long-lasting (chronic) pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes, shingles or spinal cord injury. It reduces pain and its associated symptoms such as mood changes, sleep problems, and tiredness. Pregabalin, an active ingredient of this medicine, is thought to work by interfering with pain signals that travel through the damaged nerves and the brain. It also contains nutritional supplements that improve nerve conduction. Taking this medicine regularly will improve your physical and social functioning and overall quality of life. It takes a few weeks to work so you need to take it regularly even if you feel it is not doing any good. Once your symptoms have gone you should still keep taking the medicine until your doctor advises you to stop.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Prehit NM Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Pregabalin, Nortriptyline, Methylcobalamin and Vitamin D3. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Vitamin D3 helps transmit messages from nerve cells to other cells in the body. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Driving

Kidney

Liver

If a dose of Prehit NM Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Prehit NM Tablet is used to treat certain types of long-lasting pain caused by damage to nerves. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other pain relieving medicines. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures. Immediately seek medical help if you experience hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle twitching, or loss of coordination. Along with taking Prehit NM Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief rom pain.
