It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused due to some medicines or any other medical treatment. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed. In Treatment of Allergic conditions Phena-Kid Syrup is used to treat many different inflammatory and allergic conditions. It works by lowering your immune system?s response to these conditions and prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor. This medicine is given orally (by mouth). You should always take it as it has been prescribed for you. Do not stop taking it without your doctor?s advice. This can cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections. In Treatment of Motion sickness Motion sickness is a condition caused due to motion during travel. You may experience spinning sensation (vertigo), nausea or vomiting as a result of this condition. Caution Advised: Phena-Kid Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Phena-Kid Syrup may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Phena-Kid Syrup is not recommended in children with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
