It helps to stop cancer growth and further spread and relieves the symptoms of breast cancer such as breast lumps, bloody discharge from nipple or changes in the shape or texture of the breast. This medicine is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse. Follow your doctor?s instructions carefully to get the most benefit.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. Perjeta 420mg Injection is a monoclonal antibody designed to recognize and attach to specific proteins on the surface of cancer cells. Perjeta 420mg Injection gets attached to human epidermal growth factor receptor 2( HER2) and may kill or stop the growth of cancer cells.

Alcohol

Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Perjeta 420mg Injection . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Perjeta 420mg Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Not Safe: Perjeta 420mg Injection is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.

Driving

Seek medical advice from your doctor: It is not known whether Perjeta 420mg Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Perjeta 420mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Perjeta 420mg Injection is recommended.

Liver

Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of Perjeta 420mg Injection in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Perjeta 420mg Injection is used in combination with other medicines for the treatment of breast cancer. Do not receive any kind of immunization or vaccination without your doctor�s approval while taking Perjeta 420mg Injection. Use contraceptives, and do not conceive a child (get pregnant) while taking Perjeta 420mg Injection. Barrier methods of contraception, such as condoms should be used during therapy and for 6 months after treatment.� Drink at least two to three quarts of fluid every 24 hours, unless you are instructed otherwise. You may be at risk of infection so try to avoid crowds or people with colds, and report fever or any other signs of infection immediately to your health care provider. To reduce nausea, take anti-nausea medications as prescribed by your doctor, and eat small, frequent meals. Take anti-diarrhea medication as prescribed by your doctor and eat foods that may help control diarrhea. Avoid sun exposure. Wear SPF 15 (or higher) sunblock and protective clothing. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Perjeta 420mg Injection.
