It occurs mainly due to bacterial infection or excess acids produced in the stomach. Pantocid HP Combipack helps you manage the symptoms of peptic ulcer disease such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, bloating, change in appetite. It also reduces heartburn (burning sensation in the chest) and indigestion associated with it. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall). Clarithromycin is also an antibiotic that stops bacteria from growing by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for their survival. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Pregnancy

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Pantocid HP Combipack is a combination of three medicines which treats stomach/intestinal ulcers by killing the causative bacteria. Finish the prescribed course of medicine, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the ulcer harder to treat. Stop taking Pantocid HP Combipack and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
