How to use Pacecalm Forte Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pacecalm Forte 10mg/2mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Pacecalm Forte Tablet works Pacecalm Forte 10mg/2mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Trifluoperazine and Trihexyphenidyl. Trifluoperazine is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (dopamine) in the brain that affects thoughts and mood. However, it may cause side effects such as involuntary movements (shaking of hands, muscle spasms). Trihexyphenidyl is added to treat and prevent these side effects.
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Pacecalm Forte 10mg/2mg Tablet may lead to excessive drowsiness.
Pacecalm Forte 10mg/2mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Pacecalm Forte 10mg/2mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
