Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Ozolid 1200mg Tablet SR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Ozolid 1200mg Tablet SR may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Ozolid 1200mg Tablet SR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Ozolid 1200mg Tablet SR is recommended. However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Caution Advised: Ozolid 1200mg Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ozolid 1200mg Tablet SR may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Limited information is available on the use of Ozolid 1200mg Tablet SR in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Ozolid 1200mg Tablet SR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
