In Treatment of Overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms Oxyspas 5 Tablet helps to treat uncontrollable contractions (spasms) of the bladder muscles that causes frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control passing of urine. It also relieves painful, or frequent urination and reduces urgency to urinate that may occur with some infections of the urinary tract. This way it helps manage the overactive bladder symptoms efficiently.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Constipation, Diarrhea, Blurred vision, Dry skin, Dizziness, Headache, Sleepiness']

Oxyspas 5 Tablet is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Oxyspas 5 Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Oxyspas 5 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Oxyspas 5 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Oxyspas 5 Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. You may feel drowsy or have blurred vision while you are taking Oxyspas 5 Tablet. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Oxyspas 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Oxyspas 5 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Oxyspas 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Oxyspas 5 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Oxyspas 5 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Oxyspas 5 Tablet treats symptoms of an overactive bladder by lowering the urge to urinate and controlling urination. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and carbonated drinks as they can worsen your symptoms. It may cause dizziness and blurring of vision. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. Dry mouth, dry eyes, and constipation may occur as a side effect. Maintain good oral hygiene, drink water frequently, chew sugarless gum, and wear contact lenses with caution. It can take up to 4 weeks before you see any improvement in your symptoms. Keep taking it as prescribed.
