Serious Side Effects (Stop taking the medicine and seek urgent medical attention if you experience):

• Corticosteroids & Diuretics: These can raise blood sugar levels, potentially requiring a dose adjustment of your diabetes medication.
• Sulfonylureas: Taking Orocan 150mg Tablet 10s with drugs like Glimepiride increases the risk of hypoglycaemia.
• ACE Inhibitors: May slightly increase the risk of angioedema (swelling) when taken with Vildagliptin.

• Severe Renal Impairment: Risk of drug accumulation and lactic acidosis.
• Hepatic Impairment: Risk of liver toxicity with Vildagliptin; Metformin risk in liver failure.
• Dehydration: Severe vomiting or diarrhoea can lead to kidney issues; stop the medicine and consult a doctor.
• Heart Failure: Use with caution in patients with stable heart failure; avoid in acute or unstable cases.

Standard dosing is one tablet twice daily. Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your healthcare provider.

An overdose can lead to lactic acidosis or severe gastrointestinal distress. Action Required: Seek emergency medical care or contact a poison control centre immediately if an overdose is suspected.

Take the missed dose with food as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Never "double up" on doses.
