• Dehydration: If you have severe vomiting or diarrhoea, your blood pressure could drop too low while on this medication.

• Standard Starting Dose: once daily.

• Maintenance Dose: If after 2 weeks, blood pressure is not controlled, the dose may be increased to 40mg once daily.

• Pediatric Dosing: For children, the dose is usually calculated based on body weight.

• Doctor's Direction: Do not change your dose without consulting your physician.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and return to your regular schedule. Do not take two tablets at once to catch up, as this can cause your blood pressure to drop too low.
