How Norozee-MZ Oral Suspension works Norozee-MZ Oral Suspension is a combination of three active ingredients. While two of its ingredients, namely norfloxacin and metronidazole are antibiotics, simethicone is a gas-absorbing agent that prevents gastric problems due to this medicine. The antibiotic ingredients interfere with the genetic material of bacteria by impairing its DNA. This kills the infection-causing bacteria, preventing its growth and stopping the infection. On the other hand, Simethicone binds with the gas bubbles produced as a result of the other two ingredients or as a result of some other problem. By doing so, Simethicone aids in the removal of gases and provides relief in stomach pain and bloating.

Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid to your child within 2 hours of taking Norozee-MZ Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine. Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions. Your child must complete the entire course of Norozee-MZ Oral Suspension. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. Discontinue Norozee-MZ Oral Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing. Never save the medicine for future illnesses since its effectiveness in future infections cannot be guaranteed.
