How to use Newlid-D Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Newlid-D Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
How Newlid-D Tablet works Newlid-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: dicyclomine and nimesulide which relieve abdominal pain. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Newlid-D Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Newlid-D Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Information regarding the use of Newlid-D Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.
It is not known whether Newlid-D Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Newlid-D Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
