How to use Nazogrik-Plus Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nazogrik-Plus Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Nazogrik-Plus Tablet works Nazogrik-Plus Tablet is combination of four medicines: Caffeine, Cetirizine, Paracetamol and Phenylephrine. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever. Caffeine is a stimulant which increases the effectiveness of Paracetamol and decreases sleepiness due to Cetirizine. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing temporary relief from stuffiness in the nose.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Nazogrik-Plus Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Nazogrik-Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Nazogrik-Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Nazogrik-Plus Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Nazogrik-Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nazogrik-Plus Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Nazogrik-Plus Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nazogrik-Plus Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Nazogrik-Plus Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
