How to use Monit AS Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
How Monit AS Tablet works Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Isosorbide Mononitrate and Aspirin which prevent future episodes of angina.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Monit AS 30mg/75mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
