Metrodin 200mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metronidazole and Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin), which treat stomach and intestine infections. Metronidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and certain other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) is also an antibiotic with additional antifungal action. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of both bacteria and fungi.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Metrodin 200mg/250mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
