Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Safe when prescribed by an expert: Lotel LS Eye Drop is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. To reduce the amount of Lotel LS Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Not Safe: Lotel LS Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Lotel LS Eye Drop is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
