It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. By reducing pain, it improves the quality of your life.

Lorchek Ptc Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Lornoxicam, Paracetamol and Trypsin Chymotrypsin which relieve pain. Lornoxicam is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Trypsin Chymotrypsin is a combination of enzymes which break down proteins into smaller fragments, thereby making them available for absorption into the blood. Once absorbed, they increase blood supply in the affected area and reduce swelling.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Lorchek Ptc Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Lorchek Ptc Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Driving

Not Safe: Lorchek Ptc Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Lorchek Ptc Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Lorchek Ptc Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Lorchek Ptc Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lorchek Ptc Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. However, the use of Lorchek Ptc Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Lorchek Ptc Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Lorchek Ptc Tablet is used to give relief from mild to moderate pain. Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Inform your doctor if you have or ever had ulcers in your stomach or intestines. Inform your doctor if you are planning to have an operation (even a minor one, such as tooth extraction) since Lorchek Ptc Tablet might increase the risk of bleeding.
