It works by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm. These feelings on the skin distract you from feeling the pain in your muscles and joints. Apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times a day and rub in gently and thoroughly. Along with medications, you can also do some light exercises or take physical therapy to get relief from pain.

Kvik Plus Gel is a combination of four medicines: Aceclofenac, Linoleic Acid, Menthol and Methyl Salicylate. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linoleic Acid, Menthol and Methyl Salicylate are topical analgesics (pain relievers). They work by first cooling the skin then warming it up. This cooling and warming up action distracts from feeling the pain in the joints and muscles.

If a dose of Kvik Plus Gel is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Kvik Plus Gel is prescribed to get relief from pain. Apply 2-3 times daily or as prescribed by the doctor. Remember to wash your hands after application, unless this is the area being treated. Do not apply to large areas of skin or near sensitive areas such as private parts or on broken or injured skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose, and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing. Do not smoke or go near naked flames as Kvik Plus Gel increases the risk of severe burns. Consult your doctor if you get excessive skin irritation or other unwanted effects.
