How Grenitab Tablet MD works Grenitab MD Tablet is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Grenitab MD Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Grenitab MD Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Grenitab MD Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Grenitab MD Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Grenitab MD Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Grenitab MD Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Grenitab MD Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If a dose of Grenitab MD Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Grenitab MD Tablet for prevention of nausea and vomiting caused after surgery or due to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It is fast-acting and starts working within 30 minutes. If you vomit within one hour of taking a dose, take another dose. Avoid heavy meals and try eating small nourishing snacks throughout the day. Also, sip water regularly to help avoid dehydration.
