Gramonex Injection helps to treat diarrhea that is caused due to bacteria or parasitic worm infections. This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions and also help you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated. In Dysentery Dysentery or amoebic dysentery is a parasitic infection of the intestines that occurs mostly due to intake of contaminated food or water. The symptoms include loose stools (diarrhea), stomach cramps and stomach pain. Gramonex Injection helps to treat this infection by killing the infection causing parasites. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back.

Gramonex Injection is a combination of two antibiotics: Nalidixic Acid and Metronidazole. Nalidixic Acid works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Alcohol

Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Gramonex Injection 375/ , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Gramonex Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Caution Advised: Gramonex Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. If a single dose of Gramonex Injection is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.

Driving

Not Safe: Gramonex Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Gramonex Injection may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Gramonex Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gramonex Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.

Liver

Caution Advised: Gramonex Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Gramonex Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Gramonex Injection 375/ is missed, it's advisable to consult your doctor.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Gramonex Injection as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness. Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
