This leads to symptoms of dementia such as memory loss, confusion, disorientation, problems with speech and language, and personality changes. Galamer OD 4mg Tablet increases the amount of acetylcholine and helps brain cells to communicate. It can, therefore, improve some of the symptoms such as memory, awareness, and the ability to carry out daily functions for a time. However, it is not a cure. You should use the medicine exactly as prescribed. It can take several weeks for your symptoms to improve; so keep using the medicine even if you do not think it is working.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. It works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) involved in transmmission of nerve signals. This improves memory and thinking.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Galamer OD 4mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Galamer OD 4mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Galamer OD 4mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Galamer OD 4mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Galamer OD 4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Galamer OD 4mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. However, use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with end-stage kidney disease.

Liver

Caution Advised: Galamer OD 4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Galamer OD 4mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Galamer OD 4mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

If you forget a dose of Galamer OD 4mg Tablet , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.
