How Femicef Z Tablet works Femicef Z 200mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Azithromycin. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Femicef Z 200mg/250mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Femicef Z 200mg/250mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
