COPD is caused by swelling of the airways that carry air in and out of the lungs. Efelin Tablet relaxes the muscles of these airways and widens it. It also loosens mucus and helps you to cough it out. This makes you breathe easy and gives relief from symptoms such as tightness in your chest, shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing. Avoid smoking and minimise your exposure to pollution, dust and fumes. Along with that, a little exercise each day can help you stay strong. Talk to your doctor about how much exercise is good for you.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Efelin Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Salbutamol, etofylline and bromhexine. Salbutamol and etofylline are bronchodilators which relax the muscles in the airways and widen the airways. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Together, they make breathing easier.

If a dose of Efelin Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
