How it works

How Edarnex Injection works Edarnex 30mg Injection is an antioxidant. It has nootropic (enrichment of nerves) and neuroprotective properties. It works by slowing the nerve damage caused by harmful chemicals (free radicals). This delays the progression of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) symptoms by reducing the oxidative stress (an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants) in the brain. How Edarnex Injection works Edarnex 30mg Injection is an antioxidant. Frequently asked questions

Can ALS be prevented?
There is no definitive evidence that ALS can be prevented, but awareness of risk factors like smoking and pesticide exposure may help reduce the risk. Military service has also been associated with a higher risk of developing ALS.
Who is at higher risk for ALS?
Caucasians and non-Hispanics are more likely to develop ALS, with symptoms typically appearing between ages 55 and 75. Men are slightly more affected than women, but the risk equalizes with age. Military veterans may be 1.5 to 2 times more likely to develop ALS due to toxin exposure.
What are the early symptoms of ALS?
Early symptoms of ALS include muscle twitches, cramps, stiffness, weakness in limbs, slurred or nasal speech, and difficulty chewing or swallowing. Symptoms may first appear in the hands or arms, affecting simple tasks, or in the legs, causing awkwardness while walking.
How is Edarnex 30mg Injection administered?
Edarnex 30mg Injection is given as an intravenous injection over 60 minutes by a healthcare professional. Initially, it is administered once daily for the first 14 days of a 28-day cycle, then once daily for the first 10 days of subsequent cycles, based on your doctor's assessment of your response.
Why do many veterans and athletes develop ALS?
Exposure to toxins during military service and the physical demands of athletic activity may increase the risk of developing ALS among veterans and athletes.
What are the side effects of Edarnex 30mg Injection?
Common side effects of Edarnex 30mg Injection include confusion, headache, and difficulty walking. Uncommon side effects may include skin allergies (rash and itching), breathing difficulties, chest tightness, wheezing, coughing (especially in asthma patients), and fungal infections.
Can Edarnex 30mg Injection cure amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)?
Edarnex 30mg Injection is used to treat ALS by slowing nerve damage that worsens ALS symptoms, but it does not cure the condition.
