How to use Drotarion-N Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Drotarion-N Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
How Drotarion-N Tablet works Drotarion-N Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Drotaverine and Nimesulide, which relieves abdominal pain. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves spasms associated with smooth muscles. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Drotarion-N Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Drotarion-N Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
