In Treatment of Bacterial infections : Dox-C 100 is a versatile antibiotic medicine which can be used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria. These include infections of the blood, brain, lungs, bones, joints, urinary tract, stomach and intestines. It can also be used to treat sexually transmitted diseases. It stops the growth of the bacteria causing the infection and clears the infection. It also helps treat as well as prevent diarrhea that may occur due to the use of this medicine or due to stomach/gut(intestine) infections.Take it for as long as prescribed by the doctor and avoid skipping doses. This will make sure that all bacteria are killed and they do not become resistant.
Side effects of Dox-C Capsule The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. How to use Dox-C Capsule Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Dox-C 100 can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Dox-C Capsule works Dox-C 100 is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Dox-C 100 as it is deemed unsafe.
Dox-C 100 is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Dox-C 100 is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Dox-C 100 may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
There is limited information available on the use of Dox-C 100 in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Dox-C 100 should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dox-C 100 may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Dox-C 100 is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
