Treatment of Iron overload
In Treatment of Iron overload Iron overload, as the name suggests, means excess of iron in the human body. Too much iron can cause organ damage, which can lead to conditions such as cancer, irregular heartbeat and cirrhosis of the liver. Symptoms are related to conditions that arise from iron overload such as high blood sugar levels (diabetes), darkening of the skin, abnormal heart rhythm or arthritis. By using Desifer 100 Tablet, this excess of iron can be decreased to safe levels by removing it from the body through stools. This helps to reduce the risk of organ damage and prevents further complications. Take Desifer 100 Tablet as prescribed by the doctor to get the maximum benefit.

Pregnancy

Driving

Liver
Caution Advised: Desifer 100 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Desifer 100 Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Limited information is available on the use of Desifer 100 Tablet in these patients.
If a dose of Desifer 100 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
Desifer 100 Tablet is used to reduce excess iron from the body. Inform your doctor if you also have upper stomach pain, clay-colored stools, or jaundice (yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes). Take an adequate amount of water while taking Desifer 100 Tablet.� Desifer 100 Tablet may cause dizziness. It is advisable not to drive or operate any machinery until you feel normal again. If you are taking any antacid, take them 2 hours before or after Desifer 100 Tablet. Inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
