Dry cough

In Dry cough A dry cough is a cough where no phlegm or mucus is produced. It may cause a tickling sensation or itching in the throat and may be due to cold, flu, allergies or throat irritants. Coughdip-P Syrup suppresses severe dry cough and gives you relief from an itchy throat. Along with taking Coughdip-P Syrup, gargling with warm salt water and having ginger or honey can help you manage dry cough.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Coughdip-P Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Bromhexine, dextromethorphan, phenylephrine and menthol which relieve dry cough. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough center in the brain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Coughdip-P Syrup as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Coughdip-P Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Driving

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Coughdip-P Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Coughdip-P Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Not Safe: Coughdip-P Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Coughdip-P Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Coughdip-P Syrup is prescribed to get relief from a dry cough. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. Use a proper measuring cup or spoon to measure the dosage. Inform your docotor if you have or have ever had a breathing problem such as asthma, emphysema, or chronic bronchitis. Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement and have cough for more than 7 days. _
