Consistam 0.2mg Tablet works by relaxing muscles in the bladder and prostate. So, it can rapidly relieve the symptoms and make it easier for you to urinate. However, it may take up to 6 months to notice the full benefit. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed for maximum benefits.

How to use Consistam Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Consistam 0.2mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Consistam Tablet works Consistam 0.2mg Tablet is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. This helps empty the bladder completely and reduces the need to pass urine frequently or urgently in BPH.
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Consistam 0.2mg Tablet may lead to excessive drowsiness.
Information regarding the use of Consistam 0.2mg Tablet during pregnancy is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.
Consistam 0.2mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.Consistam 0.2mg Tablet is not indicated for use in women.

Consistam 0.2mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Consistam 0.2mg Tablet is recommended.However, limited information is available on the use of Consistam 0.2mg Tablet in patients with end stage kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Consistam 0.2mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Consistam 0.2mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Consistam 0.2mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
