Cefadin 1000mg Injection fights and stops the growth of bacteria. This helps to improve your symptoms and cure the underlying infection. It is given as a slow drip (intravenous infusion) under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you. You should use this medicine regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening. The most common side effects of this medicine include rash, nausea, indigestion, and diarrhea. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.

Alcohol
Safe: No harmful side effects are associated with consuming alcohol alongside Cefadin 1000mg Injection
Pregnancy
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Cefadin 1000mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Cefadin 1000mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Avoid prolonged use of Cefadin 1000mg Injection, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.
Driving
Not Safe: Cefadin 1000mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Caution Advised: Cefadin 1000mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cefadin 1000mg Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
Liver
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Cefadin 1000mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cefadin 1000mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.
