Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bromont-LC Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Bromont-LC Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and improves your symptoms.
Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Bromont-LC Tablet .
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Bromont-LC Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Bromont-LC Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Bromont-LC Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Bromont-LC Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Bromont-LC Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Bromont-LC Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

If a dose of Bromont-LC Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
