Benipack Trio 12.5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Benidipine, telmisartan and chlorthalidone which lower blood pressure effectively. Benidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels to reduce blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Benipack Trio 12.5mg Tablet is prescribed to reduce high blood pressure and the risk of future heart attack and stroke. It can make you feel dizzy for the first few days. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time. Your doctor may get regular test done to monitor the level of urea, creatinine, and potassium in your blood. Since Benipack Trio 12.5mg Tablet increases urine output to reduce blood pressure, it is better to take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night frequently to urinate. It may cause a sudden drop in blood sodium levels. Avoid a low sodium diet while you are taking this medication. Monitor your blood pressure regularly after starting treatment with Benipack Trio 12.5mg Tablet, and notify your doctor if it does not lower down.
