• Monitor Your Blood Pressure: Check your blood pressure regularly at home and keep a record to share with your healthcare provider. This helps track how well the medicine is working.
• Stand Up Slowly: Dizziness can occur, especially when you first start the medicine. Rise slowly from sitting or lying down to reduce the risk of lightheadedness from temporary low blood pressure.

• Strong CYP3A4 Inducers (e.g., Rifampin, St. John's Wort): These drugs can decrease the plasma concentration of Amzak 5mg Tablet 10s, potentially reducing its effectiveness.
• Simvastatin: High doses of Simvastatin (above 20mg) should be avoided when taking Amzak 5mg Tablet 10s, as it increases the risk of muscle problems (myopathy/rhabdomyolysis) from the statin.

• Severe Hypotension: Must be used with caution in patients who already have severely low blood pressure.
• Congestive Heart Failure (CHF): Use with caution, particularly in patients with severe obstructive coronary artery disease or severe aortic stenosis.
• Hepatic Impairment (Liver Disease): Metabolism is reduced, leading to longer half-life and higher blood levels. A lower starting dose (2.5mg) is recommended for severe liver disease.

In the event of an overdose, the main effect is pronounced peripheral vasodilation leading to severe and prolonged systemic hypotension and possibly reflex tachycardia (rapid heart rate). If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose (more than 12 hours late). If it is close to the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
