In Treatment of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is a highly infectious disease that is caused by a strain of a virus called coronavirus. The most common symptoms are fever, cough, loss of taste or smell, breathing difficulty, nasal congestion, and diarrhea among others. Actavir Tablet is used to manage these symptoms in mildly to moderately infected individuals and helps you recover from the infection. Actavir Tablet should be taken only if prescribed by a doctor. If you think you have come in contact with a person who has been infected with Covid-19, or if you feel any of these symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.
Side Effects
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
How to use
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Actavir Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
Actavir Tablet is an antiviral medicine. It stops the SARS-Co V-2 virus from multiplying. By doing so, it decreases viral load in the body, restricts the spread of infection and helps in speeding up the recovery process.
Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Actavir Tablet . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.
Not Safe: Actavir Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Not Safe: Actavir Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: It is not known whether Actavir Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Actavir Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
