Uses

Vincristine is used in the treatment of breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, blood cancer, multiple myeloma, lymphomas, and bone cancer.

How it Works

How Vincristine works Vincristine inhibits the replication of genetic material (DNA) in cancer cells, thereby halting their growth and multiplication.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Vincristine include hair loss, nerve pain, neuromuscular disorders, and decreased white blood cell count (lymphocytes).

Vincristine is administered as an intravenous drip under the supervision of a doctor.
